Egyptian American Co. for Trading & Contracting "METCO" with headquarters in Cairo, Egypt; was incorporated in 1992 to import, distribute and service both the domestic and international hotel, restaurant and cruise boats industry with complete commercial lines of kitchen and laundry equipment.

METCO brings a fresh and innovative approach to agency services, not only acting as an agent between the end-user and the equipment manufacturers, but also to locally manufacture and/or adapt units to local requirements. METCO’s goal is to exceed the expectations of every client by offering outstanding customer service, increased flexibility, and greater value, thus optimizing equipment functionality and improving operation efficiency.

METCO is the sole agent for twenty-two companies for their full range of kitchen and laundry equipment for Egypt, the Gulf States and Africa. AGIV FORNI, AFINOX, BERTO’S, CIMAV and CONTI are the five major manufacturers in Italy represented by METCO. This has earned METCO the title "the largest importer" of kitchen and laundry equipment in Egypt.
